Webmaster


A Webmaster is also called a Web Architect, Web Developer, Site Author or Website Administrator whereas Webmistress is for females. The Webmaster is the person who is responsible for a website or a few websites. The Webmaster or Webmistress must have the specialized knowledge and skills to maintain the integrity of the site's content, designing the website, updating the information as often as required and replying to user comments.



Computer Support Specialist

A Computer Support Specialist helps people who are experiencing problems with softwares, computers or peripherals such as printers or scanners. Computer Support Specialists are also known as Technical Support Specialists. Some Computer Support Specialists called help-desk technicians field phone calls, e-mails or make house calls for people who are having difficulties with a particular piece of computer hardware or software.



Technical Writer


A Technical Writer is often tasked with writing documentations that explain technical issues in ways that non-technical people can understand. A Technical Writer also referred to as a Technical Communicator, is a professional writer who designs, creates, maintains and updates technical documentations. the documentation includes online helps, user guides, white papers, design specifications, system manuals and other documents.



Software Engineer


A Software Engineer is a licensed professional engineer who is schooled and skilled in the application of engineering dedicated to the creation of software, so that it is of higher quality, more affordable, maintainable, and faster to build. A Software Engineer is also held accountable to a specific code of ethics.



Network Administrator


Network Administrator is a person who manages a local area communications network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN) for an organization. A Network Administrator is also a modern professional responsible for the network's security, installing new hardware and applications, monitoring software upgrades and daily activity, enforcing licensing agreements, developing a storage management program and providing for routine backups, not to mention ensuring that it is up and running all the time.



Database Administrator


A Database Administrator (DBA) is similar to a database developer or designer except that the DBA's key responsibilities are ensuring that a database is available to all the users and programs that need it, and is closely related to the Database Analyst,Database Modeler, Programmer Analyst, and Systems Manager. Employing organizations may require that a database administrator have a certification or degree for database systems.



System Analyst

System Analyst is a programmer or consultant who designs and manages the development of business applications. This means the analyst must understand the general objectives of business, as well as what each individual user's job requires. A Systems Analyst researches problems, plans solutions, recommends software and systems, and coordinates development to meet business or other requirements.




Programmer


A Programmer is a person who designs, writes and tests computer programs. A Programmer is also called a Coder. Programmers usually have an extensive background in some form of computer coding language, which may included XML, PHP, PERL, HTML, or SQL. Programmers are essential to the development of computers because without the coding that is necessary to make a computer work properly, the machine would be useless. Programmers may specialize inone area or may write instructions for a wide range of systems or programs.
